The origin of finding nemo
The writer of Finding Nemo, Andrew Stanton, used his childhood experiences as his inspiration. When Stanton was younger, he would sit in the dentist office and look at the fish tank, wondering if the fish wanted to go back to the ocean. When Stanton grew up, he took his son to the aquariums and would contemplate the same question: "Do the fish want to go back to the ocean?". Stanton's answer to this question was Finding Nemo.
Stanton voiced Crush, the turtle, in the film.
